Congrats on the maintaining ChampionGod, sometimes that's the hardest part!
I did pretty decent last cycle lost 5 pounds. Feel really good about it and my clothes already feel better. I went a little crazy with the Halloween candy this past Sat. It was a cheat day but I think I went over the top. Anyway, I'm a pound up from Friday which I know will come off. Looking forward to losing another few pounds this cycle, crossing my fingers!
As far as the breast feeding friend trying this diet, I would say no. My personal opinion. Babies need all of the food groups and I think this diet would be too restrictive in the breads/whole grain category. Plus, the fruit only day I can't imagine would be good for her or the baby. My advice to the friend would be to google "how many calories can a breastfeeding mom eat?" I found a lot of good websites when I did. I would think if she cut back on her calories a little and ate a well balanced diet she could lose a few pounds. Once she is done breastfeeding, then she can start up on this diet. It's tough to be post pregnancy b/c all you want to do is get your old body back. But giving her child the best nutrition is the most important right now and I'm guessing she already knows that if she has stuck out breastfeeding for eight months. I couldn't last that long, I was a whimp!
On to day three of cycle three. I hated fruit day yesterday. I had to keep chanting to myself "its only one day." Happy to be having eggs and sausage today! Have a great week.
